Pay in the New Classroom.

This is just a quick update to my earlier post about the New Classroom. That post mentioned an email from Cambly which stated (paraphrasing here) ‘We want to pay tutors for the time they are in the classroom and as long as you’re waiting and the student returns you’ll get paid”.  I said we needed some clarification and now it seems we have it.  See image below.

“You’ll continue to be paid if you wait for them to return- up to 5 minutes per lesson….”   And there’s our clarification: up to 5 minutes PER LESSON.    Unless I’m reading this wrong (Cambly feel free to correct me here) in a 30 min lesson if a student has continuous connection issues and loses connection a few times, maybe adding up to 10 mins, you’re only getting paid for 5.  Um, what happened to “We want to pay tutors for the time they are in the classroom”?    🙂
